Com'n Up: Shane Murphy

Shane Murphy is a DH ripper from San Clemente, Ca. If you'v'e ever seen him  at a race or out riding, you will know that this isn't your average 12 year old. At his young age, he's already filmed multiple video parts and topped race podiums. As the newest member of One Ghost Industries grass roots team, he's ready to put a heavy dent on the race scene. Instead of just posting a few photos, I thought I'd pick his brain a bit to get down to the nitty gritty.
Here's a few questions and answers...

How did you get into DH?  When I was about 9 years old I started to ride My local trails on a BMX Bike and from there I got my first Mountain Bike.
First bike? My first bike I got when I was 3 years old it was a little green
bike with training wheels.

What are your racing goals for next year? My goals for next year are to move up a class and podium every race!
Who's your favorite rider and why? My favorite rider Is Aaron Gwin because he Kills it at every race
and is a really nice guy!

If you could ride anywhere in the world where would you go? If I can ride any where I would want to try whistler!

Best and Worst thing about Fontana? The best thing about Fontana is riding and racing with friends and
the worst thing about Fontana is the WALL.
Do you do any other sports or hobbies we should know about?DH is my Passion but I love going to the beach.

Favorite cereal? My Favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
What's more important, bikes or girls? I love girls they are sick! But since Im 12 years old I would say Bikes.
